What the club is

The Whole Bite Club is a free club for young kids. Our team comes to your child’s school or centre. We play, we learn, and we check teeth.

What happens on the day

Your child gets all four parts on the same day.

  1. Play & Learn

    A fun show with puppets and big teeth. The whole class joins in.

  2. Discover

    Kids find out what each tooth does. They feel and taste real food.

  3. Practice

    Small groups brush and floss. Our team shows them how.

  4. Receive

    Each child has a tooth check. Then they get a pack to take home.

The free pack

Every child we check gets a free toothbrush + toothpaste pack. They take it home on the day.

What it costs

If your family gets Family Tax Benefit Part A, the check-up is free. Some other Centrelink payments count too. Your child needs a Medicare card. Not covered? Your child is still seen on the day, at no cost to you.

The check-up is bulk billed to Medicare. You pay nothing.

What happens at a check

  1. Your child sits in a chair or lies back.
  2. We look at their teeth with a small mirror and a light.
  3. We count the teeth and look for holes.
  4. We may paint on a varnish that makes teeth stronger if you say yes.
  5. There are no needles and no drills.
  6. We send you a note about what we found.
